Smolt has had a great year - mostly thanks to the support of many local families and businesses who have chosen to dine with us for their celebrations and business occasions...... THANKS SO MUCH FOR THE SUPPORT......!!!!!
With Christmas upon us (already) we wish everyone a very happy Christmas and all the best for the coming year......!
Smolt launches a wine brand...!
In collaboration with Nick Glaetzer and Alain Rousseau at Frogmore Creek winery we have launched a locally grown Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir........... The fruit comes from a site in the coal valley called Roslyn Vineyard and the wine making will be done at the facility on Richmond road at Frogmore. The long term plan for the wine is that the staff at both Smolt, and sister restaurant Mud in Launceston, will partake in the wine making process, thus furthering their professional knowledge around wine......
Smolt would like to issue a special thanks to all the hard working producers, farmers and fishermen who have worked tirelessly all year to provide us with the best produce Tasmania can offer.
Merry Christmas to all and we look forward to see you all in the new year.
